A 20-year-old man is facing charges after he was caught driving 179 km/h in a 80 km/h zone.
Dufferin OPP say the driver pulled into a parking lot in an attempt to evade police.
Officers located the vehicle and discovered open alcohol.
The driver was also found to have a suspended license.
