A G1 driver is in a lot of trouble after being caught speeding on the 401.
The vehicle was stopped by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) on the 401 Highway west of Regional Road 25 in Milton. The driver was going 149km/h in a 100km/h zone.
With the driver having just a G1 license, they required a G level driver in the passenger seat with them. The present passenger did not have a valid G license. Tickets were issued and the vehicle was towed.
District Response Unit stopped a motor vehicle on the 401 hwy west of RR25 for 149kmhr in a posted 100kmhr. The driver was also a G1 driver! The passenger within the vehicle was not a valid holder of a drivers licence. Tickets issued, driver and vehicle picked up. #drivesafe -LB
