The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show four additional deaths in the totals. Two of the deaths appear to be Milton residents, giving our town 72 deaths total. One death appears to be an Oakville resident, giving the town 116 deaths total. The other death was a Burlington resident, putting the city at 152 total deaths. Halton Hills remains at 68 deaths total. Halton is now at 408 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 134 new cases since Tuesday. The total number of cases is up to 53,781. There have been 1,439 total hospitalizations in Halton and 408 deaths.
In Milton, we had 94 new cases since Tuesday. That brings us to 14,139 total cases. There have been 335 total hospitalizations in Milton and 72 deaths.
There is currently one outbreak reported in Milton:

Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,394,121 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,241,620 of the doses were to Halton residents.
