Mayor Sandy Brown has proclaimed today as International Overdose Awareness Day in the Town of Orangeville.
This international event aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death.
Today, we remember loved ones lost to overdose, and offer our compassion and support to their families.
To mark this day, Dufferin County Paramedic Service will be hosting a free community barbeque from 4-7 p.m. at the Paramedic Headquarters on Blind Line.
