With winter here and residents about to enter a holiday break, it’s a good idea to expect snowfall. The Town of Milton explains that not every road is equal in terms priority for plow services.
“Roads are maintained in a priority sequence beginning with primary roads, secondary roads, followed by residential roads,” the Town says in a release. “Plowing begins when at least two centimetres of snow has accumulated on roads.”

The Town of Milton adds that parked vehicles make plowing difficult. Residents are asked to keep their vehicles off the road during and after snow storms.
You should wait until 24-hours after the snowfall has ended before reporting your concerns.
