Georgian College Orangeville (MBC)
Georgian College’s Orangeville campus has started to take in applications to Ontario’s new accelerated personal support workers (PSW) program.
The program is part of the province’s $115 million investment to train up to 8,200 PSWs for high-demand jobs in Ontario’s long-term care homes.
Dufferin-Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones says the COVID-19 pandemic has made even more of a demand for PSWs, who were already in short supply before the virus came along.
