“Council has been very clear, the Mill Street library is not closing”.
Those are councillor Joe Andrews’ words when asked about the Parks and Recreation Plan, which was received by council July 27th in a special meeting.
After a month since being released to the public, some residents are still outraged with council that they are even considering the closure.
Andrews says the document is only recommendations.
Council has also stated that they will take their time going through the 500 page document and go over all 16 projects worth over $50 million dollars with a fine tooth comb.
