A familiar face will be in charge of the Orangeville OPP detachment.
OPP chief superintendent regional commander, Dwight Peer announced that as of this month, Dufferin OPP staff sergeant Nicol Randall is interim detachment commander for Orangeville.
Randall will give up her staff sergeant duties in the meantime to focus on the role.
She’s also busy compiling a team of officers to will police Orangeville while OPS officers who are offered employment by Dufferin OPP are away at a training academy for the month of October.
