Some children have had a hard time understanding the COVID-19 crisis, according to a local child psychological associate.
For very young children who had just started school this year and developing social skills and making new friends only to be taken away in March, it may stunt their social development.
Psychological associate at WindHorse Psychology, Ann Merton says it’s tougher for younger kids to understand.
Merton adds that while still hard for older kids, they have already developed social skills and have more ways to stay connected with friends.
