
Tom Warren was born and raised in Orangeville and is a former member of the Peel Regional Police Service where he served in the Quartermaster/Central Evidence Property Bureau, and Intelligence Bureau before his election to the Police Association as a Director to the Association Board of Directors. Tom comes from a long line of police personnel within his family which include his grandfather, father, mother, and two older brothers.
He is an IT Network and Internet security specialist and expert, as well as a data recovery and computer forensic investigator. Tom has trained and assisted all levels of law enforcement in dealing with online crime. Tom was a pioneer in the development of information security best practices and was a professor of information security at Conestoga and Sheridan College in Kitchener, and Brampton Ontario Canada. Tom has testified multiple times at various levels. His testimony has been used in Canada, USA, Bolivia and England.
