Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is tracking a COVID-19 outbreak at Guelph General Hospital (GGH).
Ward 4E at the hospital is experiencing an outbreak and public health says it’s aware of 4 hospital staff who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
GGH and WDG Public Health are contacting and managing GGH staff and patients who may have had contact with COVID-19 while at the hospital.
CEO of GGH, Marianne Walker says as the virus continues to spread, she expects there to be more than 4 cases and adds that those who are at risk, will be contacted directly.
