Muthanna Gewarges will have his case heard by trial later this year.
The Mono man who practices dentistry at Small Town Family Dental Clinic on Main Street in Shelburne, was arrested on May 1st and charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and communicating with a person under 18 for sexual purposes.
Shelburne Police allege the incidents happened between November 2018 and February 2019, when Gewarges sexually assaulted and offered money to a young person, who was a co-op student and part-time employee.
He will be back in court for a pre-trial on August 6th and has a three-day trial on September 29th, November 30th and December 8th.
Gewarges is ordered to remain in Ontario, notify a peace officer of changes in address, employment or occupation and is forbidden from communicating with victims and going within 100 meters of where victim frequents or is known to be.
