The special weather statement issued by Environment Canada yesterday, has turned into a snowfall warning.
Heavy snow of up to 15-25 cm expected.
Snowfall will begin early Wednesday morning (Feb.26), and will become heavy late that afternoon.
It’ll continue into that night before tapering to a few flurries by Thursday morning.
This snow is the result of a low pressure system from the central United States that is forecast to track over Eastern Ontario Wednesday night.
Be prepared to adjust your driving to rapidly deteriorating roadway conditions.
