Headwaters Health Care Centre is getting some provincial help with facility upgrades.
The Ontario government has earmarked $1.1-million for Headwaters that will be used to support several areas of significant need including roof replacements, elevator modernization, air distribution upgrades and various other facility improvements across the hospital.
“Our facility is aging, and this funding will address some of our more urgent concerns,” says Kim Delahunt, HHCC President & CEO.
“We need to be able to depend on our building when providing patient care as well as provide for a safe environment for people who work and volunteer here. This investment will help us do just that.”
Through itsĀ Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund, the province is providing funding to 131 hospitals in need of critical upgrades and repairs.
