What was originally a five-year plan has turned into 30 strong years for Nancy Frater and her independent bookstore.
Although digital copies are often cheaper and more convenient, Frater says there is still a place for independent stores such as Booklore.

And Frater has done that through various events such as One Book, One County with the public libraries, as well as by helping out various organizations.
In 2013, BookLore won the award for Best Canadian Independent Bookstore of the year.
