Dufferin OPP says one person is dead after a morning dispute at a Mono Home.
Police and local emergency responders arrived at the Hurontario Street residence at 4:30 am this morning (Nov.1) after receiving reports of a dispute at the home.
OPP says there are no threats to public safety.
Constable Shannon Gordanier says there were several people found at the scene when police arrived and she doesn’t know if the deceased or people found on scene, live at the home.
Furthermore, she says she doesn’t know the relationship the individuals found on scene have with the deceased.
But she says police are ruling it out as a domestic dispute.
No charges have been laid and police do not have anyone in custody.
The cause of death remains under investigation.
Gordanier says further information will likely be released tonight or on Saturday (Nov. 2).
