Orangeville resident Max Waters is getting support to allow backyard chickens.
She doesn’t even know if she wants them, but says it would be nice to have the choice.
This isn’t the first time someone has attempted to amend Orangeville’s residential chicken coop bylaw.
The idea was shot down by council in 2013.
Sustainable Orangeville is supporting Waters’ petition, but Waters admits more research and support is needed before it is brought to council for consideration.
