Police say one person is dead in a single-vehicle crash on Shaws Creek Road in Caledon.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene of the crash just north of Highpoint Sideroad at about 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday (July 24).
Images from the scene show a silver vehicle in a ditch resting against a hydro pole.
A passenger in the vehicle sustained fatal injuries. He has been identified as 19-year-old Malik Singh of Brampton.
Four other passengers and the driver were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Shaws Creek Road between Highpoint Sideroad and Caledon East Garafraxa Townline reopened shortly before 1 a.m..
