The Town of Caledon is taking another step forward in modernizing municipal government through a new partnership with the Vector Institute, one of Canada’s leading national artificial intelligence institutes.
Vector is a not-for-profit organization that helps Canadian organizations, academic institutions, and government partners develop the skills, frameworks, and talent needed to innovate using AI.
The partnership will help the Town identify, develop, and test practical AI solutions that can improve how municipal services are delivered, increase organizational efficiency, and build AI knowledge and capacity across the organization. Caledon is the first municipality to enter this type of partnership with the Vector Institute, positioning the Town at the forefront of responsible AI adoption in local government.
