Families can celebrate Halloween morning with trick-or-treating, carnival games, and seasonal activities as Downtown Milton’s Tiny Tots Trick or Treat returns to Main Street.
Hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA), the free annual event runs from 10:00 a.m. to noon on on Saturday, October 31st along Main Street East between Commercial Street and James Street. Children are invited to dress in their favourite costumes, collect treats from participating local businesses and enjoy a morning of family-friendly fun.
Participating businesses will display an orange trick-or-treat sign in their windows. Activities will include carnival games, live music at the Spice o’ Life parkette, seasonal photo opportunities, and a chance to get an up-close look at a police cruiser, fire truck, and transit bus.
Children can also take part in the Safari Scavenger Hunt by finding four animal pictures hidden in downtown shop windows. Completed sheets must be dropped off at the Downtown Milton booth outside Thai House or emailed to events@downtownmilton.com by noon for a chance to win.
This year’s event supports the Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC), a not-for-profit organization that provides early learning, childcare and parent support programs for families in Milton and across Halton.
Road closures will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Those include:
- Main Street East between Commercial Street and James Street
- Intersection of Martin Street and Main Street East
- Charles Street between Main Street East and Mary Street
