On September 29th at about midnight, Dufferin OPP and emergency crews were dispatched to Highway 10 between County Road 10 and County Road 8 in Mono following a collision involving two passenger vehicles, each occupied by a lone driver.
The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to Headwaters Health Care before being airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.
Tragically, the driver of the second vehicle, a 24-year-old male from Toronto, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
