Starting next Monday, Aug. 24, a portion of 8th Line will be closed between Wellington Road 22, to just north of Sideroad 17 in Erin for construction along the Elora Cataract Trailway.
Crews will be installing watermains, sanitary sewers and culverts along the trail crossing at 8th Line. Drivers are asked to take the posted detour route from Sideroad 17 to Wellington Road 23, and onto Wellington Road 22. Residents will be able to access their homes during this time.
The installation is expected to take two weeks, with the roadway reopening on Sept. 4th.
