As part of the improvement of Airport Road, Peel Region is reconstructing the existing bridge culvert at the Caledon Trailway and installing large-diameter storm sewer pipes and structures.
To ensure public safety and to expedite construction, Airport Road is closed from Emma Street to Hilltop Drive until September 7.
Businesses within the closure remain open and access is being maintained during construction!
Remaining work includes completion of the bridge rehabilitation, storm sewer installation, roadway restoration, traffic staging changes and other related work necessary to restore continuous two-way traffic and complete the project.
