Earlier this year, Orangeville Council approved a plan to improve safety in the area of Orangeville and District Secondary School after staff completed a detailed review of traffic and pedestrian movements between ODSS and Tony Rose Sports Complex.
Every school day, hundreds of students cross Northmen Way to get to class, activities, and sports and recreation programs. Families and other users of Tony Rose also cross there regularly. The current layout creates a lot of interaction between vehicles and pedestrians.
