Dufferin OPP has charged four individuals with impaired driving as a result of traffic complaints, R.I.D.E. programs, and proactive traffic enforcement.
On July 15th, officers responded to a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver in the area of Highway 10 and Fourth Avenue in Orangeville.
As a result of the investigation, a 51-year-old male from Stouffville, has been charged .
On July 18th, officers responded to a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver in the area of Airport Road in Mulmur.
A 27-year-old male from Mississauga was charged .
On July 19th, officers were on patrol in the area of Barnett Drive in Shelburne when they saw a vehicle that drew their attention and conducted a traffic stop.
A 47-year-old female from Dundalk was charged.
Also on July 19th, officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. spot check in the area of Townline and Dawson Road in Orangeville.
A vehicle entered the R.I.D.E. checkpoint and, following a brief conversation with the driver, officers initiated an impaired driving investigation.
A 24-year-old female from Orangeville, was charged
The accused individuals’ driver’s licences were suspended, and the vehicles involved were impounded.
