Dufferin OPP has charged residents of Grand Valley and Shelburne with impaired driving-related offences following two separate calls for service.
On May 19th at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a restaurant on Main Street in Shelburne for a report of a fight in progress. During the altercation, one of the individuals left the area in a vehicle. Moments later, as officers arrived on scene, the suspect had returned to the restaurant. While speaking with the driver, officers initiated an impaired driving investigation.
As a result, a 23-year-old male from Grand Valley was charged
On May 20th, at about 2:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to a motel on Highway 89 in Mulmur for a report of a possible impaired driver. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with a male driver. Officers initiated an impaired driving investigation.
A 45-year-old male from Shelburne, was charged.
