Dufferin OPP has charged an Acton resident with impaired driving offences following a traffic investigation conducted over the Victoria Day long weekend.
On May 1th, at approximately 10:45 a.m., officers were flagged down in the area of County Road 24 and County Road 109 in the Township of East Garafraxa regarding a traffic complaint involving a possible impaired driver. Officers were able to locate the vehicle a short time later and conducted a traffic stop.
A 41-year-old male from Acton, has been charged with:
· Fail to surrender insurance card
· Driver failed to surrender driver’s license
· Fail to surrender permit for the vehicle
· Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
