The City of Brampton, the Town of Caledon and the City of Mississauga, in partnership with Peel Region, are expanding the Affordable Transit Program (ATP) to improve transit affordability for low-income residents.
Beginning April 1st, eligible residents will get a 50 per cent subsidy on single PRESTO fares when travelling on Brampton Transit.
The expansion introduces a new subsidy on single PRESTO fares for adults, youth and seniors (Caledon residents only), while continuing the subsidized adult monthly PRESTO pass.
The program now includes Caledon residents travelling on Brampton Transit buses, helping more people access employment, education and community services across the region.
