(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Dufferin OPP have charged an Orangeville resident with impaired driving after receiving a call from a concerned citizen.
On March 16th, at about 12 noon., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to the area of Broadway and Dawson Road in Orangeville for a report of a female slumped over the wheel of a running vehicle. Police arrived on scene and tried to get the driver’s attention. After several attempts, officers were able to speak with the driver. Following a brief interaction, police initiated an impaired driving investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old female from Orangeville, has been charged with:
• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
