Last week, Dufferin County hosted a Statutory Public Meeting to allow community members to share their thoughts on a proposed County Official Plan Amendment application.
The application seeks to redesignate the lands municipally known as 514504 2nd Line, Amaranth Township, from Prime Agricultural to Community Settlement Area to permit the development of a 19 unit residential subdivision.
For next steps, the County will continue to review the application and staff will present their recommendation at a Council meeting on April 9.
