Officers from Caledon OPP continue to conduct traffic enforcement across Caledon, helping to keep motorists safe. A 43-year-old from Thunder Bay was charged with driving a tow truck with equipment not in good working order, driving tow truck with towed vehicle not secured, and failure to surrender required documents. In addition, an Ontario numbered company from Nipigon was charged with permit operation of tow truck with equipment not in good working order, permit operation of tow truck with towed vehicle not secured, and tow certificate holder fail to keep records in relation to business. A 27-year-old from Caledon was charged with over width load, failure to mark overhanging load, and failure to produce permit. The OPP remains committed to making our roads a safer place through enforcement and public education. Motorists are encouraged to contact the OPP to report unsafe vehicles and unsafe driving behaviour that are observed. Road safety is a shared responsibility.
