St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School in Milton has been authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for the Diploma Programme, marking a milestone for the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB).
The designation follows a successful candidacy that began in June 2023, aligning teaching and supports with IB standards. The school becomes HCDSB’s second IB World School, expanding access to internationally recognized programming alongside St. Thomas Aquinas in Oakville.
The IB Diploma Programme serves Grades 11 and 12, with a required Pre-IB pathway in Grades 9 and 10.
Applications for Grade 10 Pre-IB are open until March 6th. Learn more here.
