It’s official — the Province has recognized the Town of Caledon as an Age-Friendly Community!
This achievement, from Ontario Seniors recognizes the work Caledon is doing to create more age-friendly, inclusive, and accessible environments for older adults!
As part of this accomplishment, Katie Sawyers, Caledon’s Age-Friendly Coordinator, was invited to present Caledon’s age-friendly journey at the Rural Ontario Municipal Association’s 2026 Conference. This was an opportunity to share Caledon’s experiences, highlighted best practices, and offered insights to inspire other communities across Ontario.
