Caledon OPP kicked-off the new year with a weekend traffic blitz! Although the primary focus of the blitz was directed toward distracted driving, officers also enforced road safety laws pertaining to improper seat belt use, aggressive driving, impaired driving, and more. Throughout the weekend, officers laid a total of 219 charges and issued four 7-day driver’s licence suspensions to motorists who registered a blood alcohol concentration (B.A.C.) within the Warn Range.
