Halton District School Board (HDSB) students preparing for prom and graduation are being offered a chance to dress for the occasion at no cost through the board’s annual Fashion Forward initiative.
The program provides students with access to donated formal wear, allowing them to select outfits for prom, graduation and other special events in a welcoming and supportive environment. Donations of clean, current-style formal wear are being accepted until the end of the day on Friday, January 23rd.
Students will be able to browse and try on items during Fashion Forward Open Houses taking place in the spring. The selection includes a wide range of new and gently used formal dresses, as well as suits, shirts, ties, shoes and accessories in various styles, colours and sizes.
