‘Santa at the Fairgrounds’ will return for its 4th year!
The Halton Agricultural Society says the event offers families a chance to visit Santa Morgan, shop local vendors, and enjoy festive outdoor activities.
It’ll run over the first three weekends of December, with visits available:
- Saturday, December 6th – Sunday, December 7th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, December 13th – Sunday, December 14th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, December 20th – Sunday, December 21st, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
New this year are sensory-friendly Santa visits on December 13th and 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. These sessions feature reduced lighting, no music, and a quieter environment to support families who may benefit from a calmer experience. Appointments for sensory-friendly visits can be booked by emailing santaatthefairgrounds@gmail.com.
There is no entrance fee for the event. Photos with Santa cost $15 and will be emailed to families after each weekend. Visitors can also shop from local vendors and enjoy outdoor fire pits, where s’mores kits will be available for purchase. Event organizers note that some vendors may be cash-only, and pets are not permitted.
While admission is free, attendees are encouraged to bring donations for the Milton Community Resource Centre’s Fill a Crib campaign. Items most needed include larger-sized diapers, baby food, powdered formula, and baby wipes.
