The Halton District School Board is now accepting applications for its Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs for the 2026 – 2027 school year.
The AP program offers university-level curriculum through Grade 10 – 12 courses, with an optional AP Prep entry point in Grade 9. AP courses, exams, and self-study options are available across multiple high schools in Burlington, Oakville, Milton, and Acton. The IB Diploma Programme is a two-year internationally recognized program for Grade 11 and 12 students, supported by IB Prep programs in Grades 9 and 10 at four HDSB secondary schools.
HDSB and external students can apply through the AP and IB webpages until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2nd. Families are encouraged to review the Board’s “AP vs IB” comparison resource to help determine which pathway best supports their child’s goals.
