Environment Canada has issued a Weather Advisory for the area:
“Lake effect flurries off Lake Huron continue to bring locally heavy snowfall over the Dundalk Highlands this morning. The highest snowfall amounts are expected to fall over the areas of higher terrain.
“Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.
“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”
