Investigators from Peel Regional Police 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, in collaboration with Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit, have laid charges in connection to two shooting incidents that occurred in Brampton and Caledon.
On Oct. 26th, at about 3am, two suspects arrived at a residence near Old School Road and Creditview Road in Caledon in a silver BMW SUV. Surveillance footage showed one of the suspects pouring an accelerant on the driveway and ignited a fire. Both suspects then fired several rounds at the residence. No injuries were reported.
A short time later, it is alleged that the same suspects went to a business near Advance Boulevard and Dixie Road in Brampton. Surveillance footage showed a suspect firing several rounds toward the business from within the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
On Nov. 7, investigators arrested a 25-year-old male from Brampton.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police continue efforts to identify and locate the second suspect involved in these incidents.
