Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is encouraging residents to book their flu and COVID-19 vaccinations this fall to stay protected through respiratory illness season. WDG Public Health clinics will begin offering the flu and COVID-19 vaccines starting on October 14. Many pharmacies and primary care providers will also have appointments in the coming weeks. Everyone six months of age and older is eligible, and both vaccines can be received safely in one visit.
This year, the RSV vaccine is also free for people aged 75 and older who have not yet received it. Those who cannot access the vaccine through their family doctor can call WDG Public Health to book an appointment.
