The County of Dufferin has awarded a contract to complete rehabilitation work at the Zina Street Courthouse parking lot in Orangeville. The scope of work includes select concrete sidewalk and curb replacement, addressing overland drainage concerns, widening of the lot entrance from Elizabeth Street and overall accessibility improvements. During the project, some parking will be temporarily relocated.
The project will be completed in two phases, weather permitting:
- Phase 1 will begin on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and is expected to take approximately 10 working days to complete.
- Phase 2 will begin immediately following the completion of Phase 1 and is anticipated to take 28 working days.
This work is required to improve drainage, pedestrian accessibility and overall functionality of the Courthouse parking lot.
