The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested and charged a Georgetown man following an indecent act near a local walking trail.
On Sunday, September 14th, police were called to a walking trail in Georgetown after a female victim witnessed a man committing an indecent act on a park bench near the trail. Officers attended the area, located the suspect, and placed him under arrest.
Investigators have since linked the same suspect to four other incidents in the same area, which occurred between September 2nd and September 14th.
As a result, 19-year-old Kyq Montes of Georgetown has been charged with:
- Five counts of Indecent Act
Investigators believe there may be additional victims in connection with similar offences.
The HRPS notes that these occurrences followed a consistent pattern and in each of these incidents the accused did not approach or physically touch any of the victims.
