A 20-year-old Mississauga man is facing stunt driving charges after being stopped by Burlington OPP for travelling 201 km/h on the westbound QEW near Fourth Line in Oakville.
Police say the incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17th, when the driver reportedly asked officers for a warning. Instead, he was issued a 30-day licence suspension, a 14-day vehicle impound, and a summons to appear in court.
Under Ontario’s stunt driving laws, penalties can include fines, licence suspensions, vehicle seizures, and possible jail time.
