Commuters using Milton GO Station should prepare for a major parking disruption starting Monday, August 11th as the next phase of planned upgrades begins.
As part of a year-long improvement project, Metrolinx is currently upgrading the station building and accessible washrooms. Temporary washrooms have been installed near the accessible parking area on the west side of the building to accommodate passengers during this time.
Until Sunday, August 10th, about 260 parking spaces in the northwest corner of the Main Street East lot remain closed for resurfacing. This area will reopen just as the next phase begins.
Starting August 11th and running through August 31st, roughly 240 spaces on the west side of the lot will be closed as part of continued resurfacing work. Future upgrades will also include improvements to the train platform, bus loop, and shelter lighting.
Riders are encouraged to follow all posted signs, plan ahead, and allow extra time when navigating the area. Updates will be provided as each phase progresses.
