The Compass Run For Food has made a donation of $10,000 in support of the Dufferin Food Share.
The contribution will go a long way in helping local families, providing fresh, nutritious food to people across the region.
The funds will support the launch of a new permanent home for the Grand Valley location, making food assistance more accessible for rural residents.
It also bolsters vital work in Orangeville, where more than 1,400 individuals are now served every month.
