
Two Orangeville residents are facing impaired driving charges after separate incidents on the same day earlier this month.
Early July 4th, police were conducting a RIDE check on Centre Street when a vehicle entered with open liquor and an invalid permit.
The driver was arrested and is facing several charges, along with a licence suspension and vehicle impound.
Later that evening, officers responded to a traffic complaint near Townline in Orangeville, Police say the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
He also faces multiple charges, including impaired driving and having open liquor and drugs in the vehicle.
