Peel Regional Council has unanimously approved key measures to improve traffic safety on Caledon’s regional roads.
A new Community Safety Zone will be established this summer along Coleraine Drive and Emil Kolb Parkway, bringing reduced speed limits and higher fines.
A permanent traffic signal is also coming to Mayfield Road and Snellview Boulevard and a full traffic light at Airport Road and Walker Road.
Construction is expected to continue through 2028.
