With the first heat warning of the summer in effect, the Town of Orangeville is reminding residents to stay cool and take precautions during the extreme temperatures.
Both the Tony Rose and Alder Street Rec Centre are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. as cooling centres, water refill stations are available at both locations for people and pets.
For the kids, all municipal splash pads are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Residents are urged to stay hydrated, limit time outdoors, and check on vulnerable neighbours during the hot weather.
