The results are in for this year’s Rooted In Community Food Drive, and the community has once again stepped up in a big way.
Hosted by Mayor Lisa Post, the annual initiative concluded with an impressive total of 6,890 pounds of food collected—factoring in both physical donations and financial contributions.
The food drive drew participation from residents, businesses, and community groups, all working together to address food insecurity.
Mayor Post took to Facebook to express her gratitude, saying, “We are a stronger community because of all of you.”
