Dufferin OPP is investigating two home invasions that occurred just hours apart on Shady Glen Lane in Mono.
The first incident happened on Friday, May 23rd just before 9 p.m.
Investigators say the suspect broke into the home, pulled a firearm, and demanded valuables.
Just a few hours later, another home on the same street was targeted. The intruder displayed a gun and demanded valuables.
A struggle broke out between the suspect and homeowner. Shots were fired during both encounters.
Police arrested the suspect at the scene, A 24-year-old resident of Mono is now facing a long list of charges.
The investigation remains active.
